Check-ins purpose & instructions

Purpose

Check-ins are small collectives of Christian men (no more than 5), meeting regularly to develop themselves. The aim of check-ins is to facilitate the forming and instilling of habits that gravitate towards key elements of your life mission.

We emphasize action and mission accomplishment, celebrating and encouraging success and victory.

How it works

Each member must choose a milestone they want to achieve. A milestone should be:

  • A clear and concrete achievement in one of these categories:

    1. Spiritual

    2. Physical

    3. Economic

    4. Vocational

    5. Relational

  • Something you have reasonable control over;

  • Something that will contribute tangibly to achieving your larger missional goals.

You can choose more than one milestone, but limit yourself to 3.

Once you know your milestone, break down the actions that are required to achieve it, and create regular tasks.

Example 1:

Mission: Be known as hospitable.

Milestone: Keep a clean and homely house.
